Valve Cover Job
08 Hyundai Santa Fe running rough and stalling. It was also slinging grease while driving. Repairs included new spark plugs, coil pack, valve cover seals, upper engine cleaning, and fuel injector cleaning. The EVAP system was diagnosed, revealing fuel in the charcoal canister. Additionally, CV axles and shaft seals were replaced. Post-repairs, the vehicle now runs smoothly and strongly.

CV Axle Trouble
2008 Volvo XC90 presented with steering issues, especially binding during turns. Diagnosis revealed a destroyed CV axle as the culprit. Further inspection showed the front brake pads and rotors were nearly gone. Solution involved replacing both front CV axles and installing new brake pads, rotors and flushed the brake system. After these repairs, the SUV drove like new.

Boost Leak
2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Hatchback with a custom EJ257 Block came in due to an issue with not building boost. A thorough smoke and leak test of the entire charge pipe system was conducted. It was discovered that a reference line for the fuel pressure regulator had a pinhole leak. Additionally, the Bypass Valve (BPV) was faulty and required replacement, along with the gasket between the BPV and intercooler. After repairs, the vehicle successfully achieved 26 lbs of boost again and went back to the track.

Leaky valve cover
2004 Hyundai Elantra arrived with problems of oil loss, heavy vibrations during braking, and squishy, weak brakes. Inspection found a leaking valve cover, extremely worn brake pads and rotors (with warping noted), and dark, contaminated brake fluid. Replacements and repairs were made to all affected components, including a brake system flush. The car is now back to being reliable for its owner.

Compression Test
2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STI presented with stuttering and misfiring in cylinder 2. Conducted compression tests and leakdown tests on all cylinders, which showed normal results. The issue was traced to a faulty injector in cylinder 2 and a small leak in the OEM fuel rail. Upgraded to new injectors, fuel rails, and fuel lines, plus installed a new TGV for enhanced performance.
